Pete Blackshaw announced the acquisition and merger of Intelliseek with BuzzMetrics to form Neilsen BuzzMetrics:
Today, I’m incredibly pleased to announce that that consumer-centered commitment is dialing up a big notch through the creation of a new company and brand, Nielsen BuzzMetrics, that brings together the company I work for, Intelliseek, and a company equally commited to excellence in consumer-generated media and word-of-mouth analytics, BuzzMetrics — all under the Nielsen/VNU umbrella.
Pete’s taking on the role of Chief Marketing and Customer Satisfaction Officer (CM&CS0?) of the newly merged company. I will be emailing him with a few questions, and we’ll see what he says.
